Your profile helps families see who you are, how much you charge, where you work, and what you offer before they send a booking request.

When you register:

You receive a public sitter profile with your photo, bio, services, and pricing
You appear in the “Available Pet Sitters” list by name and city
You can share your personal profile link on social media and with friends
You print business cards and flyers
Pet parents can contact you or “Request Appointment” to send you detailed visit requests
You get access to a sitter bulletin board for tips from other sitters
You get access to our 'How to Get Pet Sitting Jobs – Practical FAQ'

West Michigan Pet Care connects pet parents and sitters but does not employ sitters. You set your own schedule, services, and prices and communicate directly with clients. Clients pay you directly.

About the information you enter

The details below create the public side of your profile and help families decide whether to contact you. Clear, specific answers usually lead to more booking requests. You will be able to edit everything later from your sitter dashboard.

Full Name

This name appears on your public profile and in booking requests from pet parents.

Used to sign in and to receive booking notifications and messages. It is not shared publicly as plain text on your profile.

Password

Choose a password you do not use elsewhere. You will use this to access your sitter dashboard.

Primary Service Area (City or Neighborhood)

Example: “Muskegon – Lakeside”, “Norton Shores”, “Grand Haven”. This helps local pet parents recognize that you are nearby.

Specialties

List the types of pets or situations you are especially good with. This text appears under your name on the sitter list and on your profile.

Animals You Work With

Give a simple list, such as “dogs and cats only” or “dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs”.

Short Bio

A few sentences about your background, years of experience, or why you enjoy caring for animals helps families feel comfortable contacting you.
